Oh so much has gone on! This may become quite the long post. Consider yourself warned :)

To start our summer off, we went to Moab. It was nearly perfect weather. If only the wind would have left us alone ;) We decided to leave Orem after I finished work on Friday. We had looked online at all of the campgrounds and we knew where we wanted to head, Horsethief Campground. So we get to Moab around 10:00 or 10:30 and there were no campgrounds available there. We drive to the next campground and nothing. This continues until after midnight! We ended up sleeping in our car. It was freezing and uncomfortable. Poor Kyle's legs were ice when we woke up. We left that campground and I had this feeling to go back to Horsethief. We did and we got a camp site! After setting up camp, we went to Arches National Park and hiked to Delicate and Landscape Arches and Balanced Rock.

No worries...my hair was disgusting, but that is the least of my problems!

After hiking in Arches, we went into Moab and played a little frisbee golf. The course was pretty cool but I played it safe. I tend to lose my frisbee if not. Anyway, we ended the course early because it was hot and their city park events were accompanied by horrible singers. On a more positive note, I got to see a few hippies. Legit ones. Awesome.

The next day we went to Dead Horse Point before we left for home. It has a beautiful view. Unfortunately, we didn't hike or bike there so it was a little boring.

Next Adventure.

Gabriel Iglesias in Wendover. My dad introduced Kyle and I to Gabriel Iglesias and we love him. Before Gabriel even got on stage, the guy next to us got thrown out. He was so drunk and belligerent. I swear everyone was drunk except me and Kyle. Nevertheless, the show was still awesome! Definitely worth it seeing him live! The show went a hour and a half over. Incredible.

Adventure #3

Denver! Everyone in Kyle's family is a die hard Rockies fan. They have been trying to convert me ever since I became a member of the family. So in order to TRY, Grandpa and Grandma Garcia took us to two Rockies games against the Dodgers. I must have been good luck because they won both games! Kyle and I also stopped by Invesco Field while we were on the hunt for Bluebell Ice Cream. I can say that the Garcia's will never convert me to be a Broncos fan, never. However, I am completely converted to Bluebell Ice Cream! Best ice cream ever. Period.

We spent two days in Denver. On Saturday, we drove to Colorado Springs to meet with Kyle's advisor. The Golf Management program is incredible. They send him out on 3 different 6 month internships to different golf resorts around the country. I am so excited for him to start that program! They wanted him to come this year but there was no way we could do that. So next year hopefully! After seeing one of his converts in Springs, we drove to Pueblo. We drove to the lake, ate at a bar, and hung out with family. Sunday we made the long trip back to Orem. Bonus points to Kyle for stopping in Roosevelt on the way home :)

And there will be many more adventures to come.
